    Roads

    The Northstar Utility Department is responsible for the maintenance of our road systems.

    The District provides maintenance of approximately 11 miles of roadway through contract with Placer County. The roads program is heavily subsidized by the Community through a special tax, which has permitted resurfacing of all existing roadways at Northstar over the last three years.

    Looking forward, the District has a planned road care and maintenance schedule. This schedule lays out the planned road maintenance and resurfacing projects through the year 2010. The District is pleased to provide maps that show where road maintenance projects have been located each year, for the next 3 years. Please click here to view maps of our planned road care projects.
