To encourage Northstar residents to further the community benefit provided by individual defensible space efforts, Northstar Community Services District and Northstar Fire Department allocate monies annually from Measure U funding to reimburse residents for the rental of a 6-yard green waste dumpster from Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal. Refunds must meet the rebate application conditions and will be available until all program funds have been exhausted.
