The following projects within the Northstar Community must be reviewed by the fire department:

• Residential 
  • New construction
  • Demo/Rebuild
  • Remodel/Addition
  • Deck Remodel
  • Carport addition or rebuild without removal of vegetation, disruption of utilities, or change in footprint.
  • Solar Ground or Roof Mount
  • Access road/Driveway with removal of vegetation, disruption of utilities, or change in footprint
  • Generator or store energy projects
  • Occupancy Classification Conversion
  • Fire alarm
  • Fire Sprinklers
  • Standpipe/Fire Department Connections
  • Permanent/ Built-in Fire Pits
  • Landscaping projects with or without vegetation removal
  • Hot work
