Sewer System Technology & Treatment

Northstar Community Services District (NCSD) formed in 1991 with the intention of providing the community of Northstar with a full range of public services, including the collection of sanitary waste within the Districts’ jurisdictional boundary. The Truckee-Tahoe area has experienced considerable growth and change throughout the years. Simultaneously, Sewer System Technology continues to improve with the oversight and guidance of a progressive Board of Directors, our customers and NCSD staff have embraced the continued improvement of District Sewer System Technology and infrastructure. The District is dedicated to maintaining the excellence of the facilities that exist today, and implementing new technology that will surpass both the quality and capacity of the systems available today. The District’s Sewer Ordinance reflects our commitment to providing the highest quality sewer services. The District Sewer Ordinance has been adopted pursuant to Government Code Section 61000 et. Seq., by adhering to the rules and laws set by Health and Safety Code of the State of California.
