Northstar Community Services District invites the public to explore the beautiful Tompkins Memorial Trail of Northstar. Developed, and constructed in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Northstar California Resort, the District proudly maintains the 17+ miles of multi-use trails that wind through wooded areas the Northstar community, taking you over creeks, and along boardwalks through Martis Creek Wildlife Area. There are memorial benches and picnic tables located along that trail, allowing the outdoor enthusiasts and their families to rest and refuel. The Tompkins Memorial Trail (TMT) connects the lower neighborhoods of Northstar to the Martis Valley and Porcupine Hill areas. All trails are open year-round to the public for hiking, running, biking, and recreating.
